This hybrid subject explores contemporary curriculum theory and design through scaffolded online modules, collaborative discussions, and a series of podcasts that guide critical engagement with educational equity, assessment, and practice in diverse learning contexts.

  • Scaffolded curriculum modules and feedback loops progressively build assessment literacy, supporting students to design and critique curriculum through formative tasks, peer dialogue, and reflective practice. 
  • Assessment supports including podcasts, exemplars, and feedback checkpoints are embedded to model and promote effective assessment and feedback aligned to learning outcomes. 
  • Guidance on the ethical and purposeful use of generative AI is integrated into assessment design, encouraging critical engagement with AI as a learning and teaching tool in contemporary curriculum practice.
