Supporting student mental health as a student leader, a 50-minute self-paced online training program providing a practical framework to assist student leaders in identifying and supporting students experiencing mental health issues. Developed by Counselling and Psychological Services, the program includes recognizing common stressors and how students cope with change and stress, effective ways to provide support, self-care, setting healthy boundaries and accessing support services both within and outside the University. The program includes a range of interactive exercises and video clips, hearing personal stories from students and following the experiences of two student leaders as they support their peers.
