Full subject description
This is a pre-workshop module for club or society student leaders. It discusses sexual misconduct, its causes and drivers, and how a student leader should respond. The module is a prerequisite for students to complete before participating in an in-person workshop on bystander intervention and responding to disclosures of sexual misconduct. All UMSU affliated clubs or societies are required to have a certain number of committee members complete this module and then the in-person workshop. Compliance requirements are advertised on the UMSU website.
