Full subject description
Working with others is an essential skill at university and in the workplace. However, when you cooperate with another student to share or swap information or work that is then submitted for individual assessment, you’re misrepresenting capabilities and missing out on valuable learning.
There is a crucial difference between collaborating with other students on authorised group projects when you are directed to do so as part of your subject or assessment and colluding with others to complete an assessment where you are being marked individually.
In this module you will learn how to:
- Collaborate in a way that maintains academic integrity.
- Recognise the difference between collaboration and collusion.
- Differentiate between group and individual assessments.
